The Littlest Black Book casing for the iPod nano is cute

While iPhones and iPads have tons of interesting sleeves and cases for them, not much love is shown for the iPod nano apart from the typical watch strap offering. Well Pad & Quill has decided to change that and has since launched a Kickstarter project for an upcoming product dubbed The Littlest Black Book. The company is known for producing Moleskine-like products for the iPhone and iPad so we guess it did not come as a complete surprise that they are attempting to do the same for the iPod nano. As you can see in the photo above, The Littlest Black Book is a miniaturized book cover for the iPod nano.

8 year old uses Find My iPhone, stumbles across $350,000 in stolen items

Apple's Find My iPhone tool is a pretty useful tool especially for those trying to track down a misplaced or even stolen iOS device. Well one 8-year boy by the name of Landon Crabtree did just that when his family's house was broken in to and the burglars made off with his family's iPad amongst other things, except that he might have gotten more than he bargained for.

Don't worry, lone gunslingers, today isn't just about the NEX-FS700. Sony's pro range has also been bolstered with the HXR-NX30 for videographers who need to travel light. This model sacrifices interchangeable lenses in favor of a palm-friendly form factor with a 26mm-260mm (35mm equivalent) Carl Zeiss Vario-Sonnar T fixed lens. The camera sports Sony's 'Balanced Optical SteadyShot' technology, which means both the lens and the sensor assembly are floated as a single element to minimize camera shake. Unlike that of the larger NEX-VG20, the HXR-NX30's sensor is shrunken too: it's an Exmor R CMOS that's only slightly larger than 1x3-inch.

This is why drag racers should stay on dragstrips

We've seen some dumb ideas before, but this one may take the cake. The post-jump video shows what happens when a dragster that should stick to the strip goes on a track that requires a mild left turn. Actually, this "track" looks more like the cart path at the local golf course, except most owners wouldn't put the path this close to a ditch. Of course the dragster ends up in said ditch, and we're thinking the driver is mighty lucky that his car rolled back into the upright position, or he could have been in a heap of trouble.

Watchmen's Comedian Smiley turned into a Spy Camera

I know that this yellow smiley "pog" has never been made/created for the comedian, but watchmen is not only one of my favorite comics but also one of my favorite movie. Anyway JTT a Japanese company came with a very interesting Spy Camera/Webcam using the famous yellow smiley pog as basic design and hide in its right black eyes a small camera capable to shoot 480x30p videos up to 25 minutes per files and store them on a microSDHC Card. Want one.
