Humble Mobile Bundle adds 3 new games for charity: Karateka, QWOP, and God of Blades

Humble Mobile Bundle adds 3 new games for charity: Karateka, QWOP, and God of Blades

Humble Mobile Bundle 2 launched last week exclusively for Android devices and in one of the best Bundles yet, we saw the Android debut of Star Command. Time Surfer also made its first Android appearance as well as a handful of other great games that were being offered on the cheap in hopes of donating a chunk of proceeds to charity. As so often is the case, a few additional titles are making their way into the Bundle and while you'll have to pay more than the $4.54 average to get ‘em, we think they're more than worth it.

Adobe Hacked, Data Of 2.9 Million Customers Compromised

Adobe Hacked, Data Of 2.9 Million Customers Compromised

A major cyberattack on Adobe has left data of 2.9 million customers compromised, the company revealed today through a blog post. The intruders were able to gain access and run off with a large number of Adobe IDs and encrypted passwords. Adobe also says that certain information on 2.9 million customers has been compromised, this includes encrypted credit and debit card numbers, their expiration dates and customer names. In another recent attack, intruders stole source codes for a number of Adobe products, such as ColdFusion and Adobe Acrobat. The company believes that there might be a connection between these two attacks.

Mitsubishi Mirage configurator is alive

Mitsubishi Mirage configurator is alive

Well, here's the butter knife Mitsubishi is bringing to the subcompact gun fight. It's called the Mirage, and its configurator has just gone live on Mitsubishi's consumer page, allowing those that absolutely must have a brand-new car for not a lot of money (and have never heard of the Nissan Versa, Mazda2, Chevrolet Spark or Ford Fiesta) to build their perfect example. Prices start at $12,995 for a base DE model with a five-speed manual transmission and $14,195 for the up-market ES with the same transmission. A 74-horsepower, 1.2-liter engine is the sole powerplant.

Looking back at 84 years of BMW roadsters

Looking back at 84 years of BMW roadsters

Today BMW is a top player in the luxury vehicle market, but it wasn't always so. With origins as an airplane engine builder early in the 20th Century, it broke into the automotive industry when it bought Automobilwerk Eisenach in 1928. That German manufacturer was licensed to build the Austin Seven under the name Dixi DA-1, which could be had in a roadster body style. In 1929, BMW dropped the Dixi name, and by 1936, it was building a car it designed in-house, the 326 sedan.

T-Mobile is killing off Classic plans at Walmart, Target, Best Buy, and more starting Nov 1st

It was back in March T-Mobile made waves in the mobile industry after officially announcing that they would be doing away with their Classic rate plans — and device subsidies in the process — in favor of new, contract-free, Simple Choice plans. Sure, making monthly payments on your new phone made them just about as expensive as the other guys, but the fact that you could BYOD (bring your own device) and pay a substantially lower rate for monthly service was liberating. Simple Choice plans.
