Toshiba is preparing to release a new touchscreen notebook namely the dynabook T653x68J. The system will pack a 15.6-inch 1366 x 768 touchscreen display, a 2.40GHz Intel Core i7-3630QM processor, an 8GB DDR3 RAM, a 1TB hard drive, a 2MP webcam, a BDXL drive, WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0 and run on Windows 8 64-bit OS with Office Home and Business 2013. The dynabook T653x68J will go on sale from mid-June for 180,000 Yen (about $1,790).

Vauxhall's 576-horsepower VXR8 GTS is the new thunder from Down Under

Right around the same time customers in the US start taking delivery of their Chevrolet SS performance sedans, buyers in the UK will be hopping behind the wheel of the new, high-output Vauxhall VXR8 GTS. Looking to take on the BMW M5 and Mercedes-Benz E63 AMG, the VXR8 GTS ups the power even more by borrowing its engine from the Chevrolet Camaro ZL1. The GTS will hit UK dealers by the end of this year with a price of 54,999 pounds (which converts to around $83,500, including taxes).

According to a new report, Samsung's next-gen Galaxy Tab will not rely on silicon made in house as others have in the past. Nor will the slate be powered by the ARM processors typically associated with Android devices. Instead, Samsung has opted to go with Intel's Clover Trail+ CPU for the 10.1-inch version of the Galaxy Tab 3, according to Reuters. If these reports pan out, it would mark the highest-profile android launch for Intel.
