Moto X said to get a price drop to $100 in Q4 this year

Motorola's latest and greatest Moto X has generally been lauded by everyone for its unique customizable colors and performance but the $200 price tag on contract has often raised questions, especially considering you get much more powerful smartphones such as the Samsung Galaxy S4 and the HTC One for the same price. It seems Motorola is aware of this and is planning a price drop in the near future. evleaks has revealed that the Moto X will be getting a price drop in Q4 this year and will drop down to $100 on a contract.

PlayStation Plus Members Getting Rayman Origins, ICO HD, More In September

At the start of a new month, Sony tends to tease some of the upcoming content they will make available for free for PlayStation Plus subscribers. In the battle of free games between Sony and Microsoft, Sony is certainly offering a better selection of popular games, and September will be no different. PlayStation Plus subscribers will be given access to several worthwhile games in September, which includes Resident Evil Chronicles HD Collection, ICO and Galaxy Legions DX for PlayStation 3 owners, and PS Vita owners can enjoy Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories and one of my personal favorites, Rayman Origins.

Toyota again hints that a new Supra is under development (video)

Now that the NSX is on its way back, the list of sports car revivals most yearned for by US enthusiasts is probably down to the Mazda RX-7, Nissan 240SX, Lotus Elise and Toyota Supra. There's been a lot of talk about that last one over the past year especially, with rumors of an all-wheel-drive coupe utilizing a CVT last May, a Toyota engineer declaring he was instructed to develop a new Supra in November (and another MR2 in case you're wondering), a tie-up with BMW in January of this year that highlighted a "mid-size sports vehicle" and the incoming company chairman saying he wants something "comparable" to the Supra just two months ago.

Google Glass Gets A More Fashionable Design

Google Glass Gets A More Fashionable Design

Personally speaking Google Glass looks good to me, but then again I expect that not everyone shares my opinion and there are those who might be wishing that the gadget could look more fashionable, or perhaps more "normal" so as to blend in with our everyday fashion. Well for those who are wishing for something like that to happen, you could be getting your wish as a new design of Google Glass (pictured above) was posted on Isabelle Olsson's Google+ page. For those unfamiliar, Olsson is the lead industrial designer of the Glass team and we have to say we are liking this new design.

NJ Might Hold You Liable If You Text Someone While They're Driving

One can't stress enough just how bad texting while driving is. Countless incidents have been reported from all around the world where drivers have caused serious injury or even death just because they thought they could multitask. The appellate division of New Jersey Superior Court has released a new opinion under which it establishes that the sender of a text message can potentially be liable if an incident is caused, though they're likely to liable if they know that the recipient is behind the wheel.

Toyota gives a free RAV4 to 50-millionth customer (video)

Not surprisingly, the 50-millionth Toyota product sold in the US was a Camry, but Toyota had a big surprise in store for Michael Dee, the buyer of said milestone vehicle. Toyota group vice president Bill Fay showed up at Dee's house to not only personally thank him for the purchase, but also completely paid off that brand new Camry, presenting the owner with a clear title. But that wasn't all. As you can tell from the image above, Fay had one more trick up his sleeve. The group VP brought along a brand new 2013 Toyota RAV4, which was also presented to Dee in appreciation.

Golden iPhone 5S casing leaks in a video alongside white 5C

A video has surfaced which shows the rumored iPhone 5S' golden casing and compares it side by side with the silver iPhone 5. The prominent differences are the dual-LED flash cutout on the iPhone 5S casing, the different third microphone pinhole shape and the fact that the chamfered edges on the sides aren't colored and are instead just plain aluminum. We've seen pictures of the champagne-gold casing more than once.

Apple Looks To Hire Experienced Engineer For iPhone/iPad Materials Team

There have been a plethora of rumors about Apple releasing a budget iPhone fashioned out of plastic. We've seen purported images of the device as well. Its actually not the first time that Apple has used plastic for its iPhone, the material was used up till iPhone 3GS. iPhone 4 brought the combination of glass and aluminium that exists to this day. It appears though that the company is looking to expand the use of plastic in its products.

The Mountune-worked Fiesta ST GRC does 0-to-60 mph in 1.9 seconds. Unless you happened to be in the parking lot in Fontana, California where Ford, OlsbergsMSE and Mountune were showing off the Fiesta ST built for Global RallyCross. Ford's latest global performance car is an experiment on our shores that aims to find out if we – Americans – are ready to support a B-segment hot hatch with a European pedigree.

Apps need to get updated from time to time in order to keep up with the fast paced society that users live in. In fact, if a particular app does not get its fair share of updates, you can be sure that it will lose out on its market share – fast. Google has been pretty consistent in the past to deliver app updates across various mobile platforms, and this time around, it would be the native Gmail for iOS app that has been given a bump up to version 2.4.

GM headed back to Super Bowl in 2014

After opting not to advertise during this year's Super Bowl because of the ad rate – about $3.8 million for thirty seconds – Variety reports that General Motors has bought airtime during the 2014 Super Bowl at roughly the same rate. When ex-GM marketing chief Joel Ewanick pulled out last year, the reasons he gave were, "It's just getting too expensive," and, "we're not just going to do the same thing every year.". It's said that Fox Sports, which will broadcast the Super Bowl, was looking for $4 million per 30-second spot but is actually getting between $3.5 and $3.8 million.

Alleged front panel of upcoming Galaxy Note 3 surfaces

The latest leaked images of the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 show off what is allegedly the front panel of the devices. While no measurements were provided alongside the images, according to previous leaks the device is set to feature a 5.7-inch diagonal - up from the 5.5" on the Note II. While the panel follows Samsung's design strategy, the corners are more defined than on the Note II as well, which lends itself to a more business-oriented marketing approach (think BYOD).

Upcoming Oppo N1 leaks though new images

Upcoming Oppo N1 leaks though new images

Oppo caused a bit of a stir by their provocative ad campaign for the upcoming Oppo N1. Now we have some leaked images that give us a look at the actual phone rather than the attractive back of a woman (although we don't necessarily mind that). The images show a white colored model with a rather slim bezel and a sizable display on the front. The right side doesn't seem to have any keys and on the bottom are the loudspeaker, microUSB port, headphone jack and a microphone. Unfortunately, we don't get to see that touch sensitive back of the device, which is the phone's main feature.

The phone will be announced officially next month.

Magnus Walker, a prolific Los Angeles clothing designer who has also carved out a respected spot for himself in Porsche world, has had yet another video made about him and his sizable Porsche collection. In this latest video, Hong Kong-based Obscura magazine focuses its video cameras on Walker and his 1971 Porsche 911 track car (yes, the one that appeared on Jay Leno's Garage) as he speeds around Downtown LA and Little Tokyo late at night. We've heard Walker's story many times before. He's not like the average Porsche owner, perhaps a tad more passionate than most, and he builds 911s like he designs clothes: his way.

If you're as much of a fan of the Back to the Future films as we are, you'll know one of the most iconic scenes from all of the films was when Biff Tannen crashed his car into the back of a manure truck, resulting in a tidal wave of dung being emptied out into his vehicle. Up until today, we thought this could never, happen, but the power of the Internet has once again proved the impossible will always be possible. A Wisconsin man was reportedly driving a rental car and crashed into a tractor pulling a trailer filled with liquid manure earlier this week.

Australia's Motoring has put together a little video on two of the great performance vehicles available down under - the Holden VF Commodore HSV GTS and the Ford Falcon FPV GT R-Spec. And while both FPV and the Falcon might be on their way out, there's still plenty of time for a little head-to-head comparison between the two. The cars aren't all that well evenly matched, though. The Ford boasts a 5.0-liter, supercharged V8, which the Aussies measure out at 449 horsepower and 420 pound-feet of torque.
