The US gets the pink Galaxy Note 3 on November 11

It seems Samsung has already manufactured enough pink Galaxy Note 3 units and it's ready to launch it across the globe. Earlier today we saw Phones 4U announcing the start of the UK sales of the third color option and now Newegg in the United States are joining the funk. A pink version of the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 is available on pre-order through Newegg's website. It costs $749 and will ship on November 11.

It's interesting to note that the pink edition of the Note 3 Newegg has listed is about the N9000 Note 3 model powered by the octa-core Exynos 5420 chipset.

Samsung Sells More Phones Than Apple, Nokia, And BlackBerry Combined

It comes as no surprise to Android phones are selling the most, given that Apple is pretty much on their own when it comes to iOS, and that the Windows Phone and BlackBerry platforms aren't exactly selling like hotcakes either. It is also no secret that Samsung is probably the biggest name when it comes to Android devices, what with them selling 5 million Galaxy Note 3 handsets to date, with their overall sales reported to be around 1 million devices a day.

Cambridge Audio Minx Air 200 Wireless Music System review

A couple months ago I posted a review of theĂ‚ Cambridge Audio Minx Go and concluded at that time that it was my current favorite small speaker. Then I was given the opportunity to try the Minx Go's bigger brother, theĂ‚ Cambridge Audio Minx Air 200 Wireless Music System. At twice the size and four times the price of the Go, is it a worthy speaker system. Let's see.

Pandora 5.0 brings the tablet UI we've all been waiting for, Chromecast support hinted

We've been getting a little tired of getting our internet radio on our Android tablets through an app that looked like it belonged on an Android tablet. Sure, the tunes still sound just as good, and we suppose you're not really looking at the app too much when you're listening, but it was still a bit hard to look at. Thankfully, today's update changes that for good. The app keeps all of the same functionality you're used to, such as support for lyrics, the ability to rate music, the ability to view your profile information and more, except it does it all in a much more spacious viewing area.

Samsung Galaxy Note 3 gets a bug-squashing update

The Snapdragon 800-version of the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 is getting an over-the-air firmware update. It weighs 116MB and should be available to all SIM-free and unlocked N9005 models any moment now. According to the official changelog the update brings stability improvements plus it turns off the re-activation lock, which requires you to input your Samsung account details after a factory reset of the phone.
Until today, this option was turned on by default and, while it added some extra security, it came as nasty surprise to those that didn't know it existed.

Was just about to hit the hay for the evening when this came through the wire. Honestly, I'm not even entirely sure I'm not still dreaming in my onesie but here goes. Revealed in a press release just moments ago is Motorola's upcoming open hardware platform dubbed Project Ara. Yes, you heard right. According to Motorola, they want to do to hardware, what Android has done to software by creating an open based modular smartphone platform.

The goal is to have 3rd party developers create pieces of a phone that can be decided upon by the user, not unlike what we saw in the Phonebloks concept we showed you a few weeks ago.

Soon after Apple unveiled the new iPad Air and Retina iPad mini, various reports started making the rounds that Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak wasn't impressed with the new tablets. He wasn't present at the keynote like he usually is, Woz missed the event as he was on a plane to London. In an email interview with Gina Smith, Wozniak has clarified that he “never criticized the new iPads,” and that the British media he talked to spun his words to convey a whole different meaning. Woz says that the UK press is “the worst in the world for mischaracterizing what I say.”Ă‚ Gina Smith is actually the author of Woz's memoir.

Offering a little more than confirmation of the device's retail name (at that point we still didn't know what the phone would be officially called), the Nexus 4 wasn't made official until October 29th.

Today we are now seeing the Nexus 5 pop up in a Carphone Warehouse's inventory screen, this time with the quantity of units the retailer currently has on hand.

Livescribe 3 smartpen digitizes notes straight to your iPad, starts at $150

Because Livescribe 3 gives over so much functionality to the app (which we'll get to later), the design of the pen is surprisingly minimal. Indeed, Livescribe's VP of Marketing, Bryan Rodrigues, told us that the company wanted it to look more like a pen than a gadget. With the screen and the on/off switch gone, we'd say they succeeded on that front. Instead of hitting a button, you turn it on by twisting the textured middle ring clockwise, which reveals the ballpoint nib as well.

We've all experienced an “oh crap” moment when we need a pen and there isn't one to be found. I have a handy solution for you – if you carry a smartphone. It's the Jackpen. A tiny ballpoint ink pen that stores in the earphone jack of your phone. When you need a pen, you remove it, flip it over, plug it back into the jack and presto, you have a pen. Writing with your smartphone might be a bit awkward, but I didn't say it was a perfect solution, just a handy one Jackpens come in packs of 3.

Cadillac ATS-V Coupe is ready to rumble

Our spy photographers just snapped the first photos of a prototype 2015 Cadillac ATS-V coupe out testing, and it appears that the BMW M4 will face some stiff competition. This is also our best look at a coupe version of the ATS, which we've spotted before wearing much more camouflage. The ATS-V coupe, powered by a 400+ horsepower twin-turbocharged V6, has a more aggressive front end than the regular ATS, with a much larger lower air intake and chin spoiler - maybe even a power bulge hidden under the camo.
