A while back we reported that the beta version of Skype was finally making its way onto Windows Phone devices. After all the money that Microsoft had spent acquiring the company, we guess we can't say that we're too surprised. However it looks like that joy may be short-lived. According to Nokia, it seems that they have decided to drop support for the Skype app on their Lumia 610 Windows Phone handset, citing that the user experience was not up to par with what Nokia and Skype originally had in mind. According to Nokia's full explanation:
