HTC and Verizon push out Droid DNA update to fix SIM card detection

HTC and Verizon push out Droid DNA update to fix SIM card detection

Yesterday afternoon, Verizon's HTC Droid DNA customers started receiving a 32MB update to address the SIM card detection issues which have been causing a bit of frustration for Droid DNA owners. On occasion, handset owners have received error message that there is no SIM card in the phone, followed by a loss of data and voice connectivity. Verizon's support documentation for the update features a single line.
“Improvements have been made to SIM card detection.”

We do not know how long it will take Verizon to push the update to all Droid DNA owners, but we expect it'll roll out in waves over the next week or two.
