The first Samsung Galaxy Note was launched back in 2011. Its unusual display size lead many to believe that it might perform well, but the device has actually crafted a niche of its own. Just last week the company unveiled Galaxy Note 3, its third phablet, with a host of new improvements and features. At a press conference, Samsung co-CEO JK Shin revealed that the company has sold 38 million units of the Galaxy Note 1 and Galaxy Note 2 around the world.
He predicted that they'll be able to sell over 10 million units of the new phablet. Shin also said that the company believes Galaxy Note 3 will outdo all of its predecessors.
