Safe to say, most of you guys are probably familiar with how more megapixels does not necessarily equate to better photos, but there are times when more megapixels are necessary, such as when photographers need to print large photos and don't want to lose out on the detail. In any case according to the folks at Sony Alpha Rumors, it seems that Sony is working on a 54MP full frame sensor for 2014, and that if they were to implement it, chances are we might see it manifest itself in 2015 or 2016 cameras. Why is it taking so long.
