Samsung Galaxy Nexus now available at Vodafone UK, Verizon's version rumored to launch on December 11

The Samsung Galaxy Nexus is now available at Vodafone in the UK. Initially, it was only to be found at O2 and Phones 4U. So if you wanted to get one straight from Big Red, now's your chance. The superphone is being offered for free on plans which cost £41 per month or more. For that minimum amount you'll be getting 1,200 minutes, unlimited texts, and 750 MB of data each month. The cheapest plan with which you can get the Galaxy Nexus is £26 per month, and it gives you 100 minutes, 500 texts, and 250 MB of data, but choosing this plan requires you to pay £299 for the phone outright.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 – The Vet & The n00b Trash Talk video released

Remember the “The Vet & The n00b” trailer that was released last month. It looks like we haven't seen the last of those two soldiers yet. A new The Vet & The n00b video has been released today, with Sam Worthington and Jonah Hill reprising their respective roles. This time around we get less action, but more comedic relief in the dialogue.

RIM responds to PlayBook root, says investigation is underway

. A group of security researchers recently demonstrated on video that they have successfully gained root access to the QNX-based operating system found on Research In Motion's BlackBerry PlayBook tablet. The PlayBook jailbreak and related “mack truck” security hole these hackers identified could have some serious implications for future BlackBerry devices, but RIM says users should not get ahead of themselves.

If all the typical iPad/iPhone docks that keep popping up every week is starting to look a bit too generic for your taste, perhaps you might want to take a look at the iStation by M.I.C Gadget which makes your iPad look like a pretty retro computer when docked. The iStation will allow you to choose between a faux woodgrain finish for the retro look, or if you prefer something a little more "clean" the iStation will come in white as well. The keyboard and speakers will pair with your iPad via Bluetooth, although a USB cable is available as well if you wish to charge your tablet at the same time.

Bridgestone Airless Tire Resembles Psychedelic Spirograph Sketch

Bridgestone Airless Tire Resembles Psychedelic Spirograph Sketch

Goodbye pump: Bridgestone's airless tire concept cannot be punctured. Changing a tire at the side of the road is no big deal (you know that the tire-iron is for removing the wheel-nuts and not just for self defense, right?), but suffering a blowout on the freeway isn't any fun at all. Bridgestone's new airless tires fix both problems.
The concept design uses thermoplastic “spokes” which radiate tangentially out from the hub and curve before joining the rim. The ribs run in different directions on either side of the wheel so no rotation or twisting of the tread occurs.
