Jolla is now shipping across Europe

Jolla is now shipping across Europe

Jolla is now fulfilling the pre-orders across Europe and the first Sailfish-based smartphones are already on their way to eager owners. Most of Jolla's pre-orders came from the phone's homeland Finland, with UK and Germany following in the list. Jolla went on sale in Finland on November 27, just as promised. Unfortunately there were only 450 units available for purchase and most of them went to those, who pre-registered their interest a long time ago.

Jolla will become available worldwide for €399 after all the pre-orders are fulfilled. There is still no information on when this will happen though.

Mohu Curve 30 Indoor HDTV Antenna review

Mohu Curve 30 Indoor HDTV Antenna review

If you're looking to save money by “cutting the cable”, you're probably looking for an alternate source of TV programming.  Of course there are various boxes and services that you can subscribe to, but there's a lot of network programming that is available to you for free.  All you need to receive high-definition TV programming from local channels is an antenna, and we've reviewed several here at The Gadgeteer.  Many of the indoor antennas are about the size – and have the appearance – of a plastic placemat for the dining table, with a thick coax cable hanging off them.

Gold colored HTC One made official - heading to European markets soon

Gold colored HTC One made official - heading to European markets soon

A gold HTC One isn't anything new, but HTC's new gold colored HTC One will certainly be a lot more popular than the gold plated versions of the phone which are available from Goldgenie. Like the red and blue variants of the HTC One, the new gold HTC One should come with the exact same sticker price. The gold colored HTC One was first spotted back in September when leaked images showed off the chassis of the phone. For now, HTC says that the gold HTC One will be rolled out with a few of its partners in Europe, but we see no reason why US service providers wouldn't be interested in offering the gold HTC One to their customers for the holidays.

GM China president Socia retires after year on the job, Tsien ascends

GM China president Socia retires after year on the job, Tsien ascends

Last year General Motors not only sold more vehicles in China than it did in any other market, it also sold more vehicles in China than any other automaker. The company's Chinese operations were until now the responsibility of Bob Socia (pictured above at right), but after just a year on the job, Socia is already stepping aside and into retirement. In his place, the company has announced the promotion of Matt Tsien (above, left) to the presidency of General Motors China. Tsien has until now served as a vice president at GM China, responsible for planning, program management, consolidated international operations and strategic alliances.

Dell Has A 24″ UHD Display Revealed On Website

At this time, Full HD 1080p resolutions are still considered to be the standard, meaning that monitors typically support resolutions of 1920×1080, but with 4K UHD displays starting to enter the market, we wouldn't be surprised if further down the road it becomes the new standard. While most of us don't have use for 4K right now, there are some out there who do and it looks like Dell might have a 24x4K monitor that they are planning on announcing soon. This is according to Dell's website where a recent listing for a 24x4K 3840×2160 monitor was sighted.

White Nokia Lumia 929 For Verizon Leaked

White Nokia Lumia 929 For Verizon Leaked

The Nokia Lumia 929 is definitely not news to us. The handset has been leaked several times in the past, and last we heard it was supposed to be available on Verizon come 21st of November, but given that we're already in December, well safe to say that date did not pan out. Well thanks to a newly leaked photo, we now have alleged photos of the Nokia Lumia 929 in white and on the back of the handset (as pictured above), it shows Verizon's logo, still indicating that the handset will be headed for the carrier.
