Targus Stylus for iPad Review

Targus Stylus for iPad Review

When I recently received the Targus Versavu Keyboard and Case for iPad 2 for review, I also received a Targus Stylus at the same time.  I thought I'd save the stylus for a separate review, and I thought it would be perfect for the series of holiday gift idea reviews Julie had planned.  Let's give the Targus Stylus for iPad, iPhone, and iPod a closer look. Most of the images in this review can be clicked for a larger view.

Although the packaging says the stylus is for iOS devices, it should work for any capacitive touch screen.

CompuLab fit-PC3 computer now avaiable

CompuLab fit-PC3 computer now avaiable

Desktop too cluttered with your tower casing, peripherals and whatnot. Well, CompuLab's fit-PC3 is finally available and upon first glance, if you did not know any better, the fit-PC3 could be mistaken for some sort of router or external hard drive. In reality it's actually a computer which packs an AMD APU in either single-core or dual-core options. The fit-PC3 will be a tiny fanless design which was created that way on purpose to keep down the noise of fans whirring. It measures 16 x 15 x 2.5cm and it will be able to support up to 8GB of DDR3 memory.

Occupy HTML wants Flash to stick around

Occupy HTML wants Flash to stick around

A couple of days ago we reported about Occupy Flash - a group that wants to get rid of Flash from all web browsers. And now, it looks like they have an opposition in the form of another movement called “Occupy HTML”. But unlike Occupy Flash that wants to get rid of Flash (you can't get rid of HTML5) they believe that HTML5 and Flash should coexist peacefully, or at least until Flash can be completely replaced by it. Here is Occupy HTML's manifesto:. Flash is mature. It's supported by all major desktop browsers. It's stable when used properly. If not, it crashes a lot, just like every other technology.

Latest Bugless Beast Build Brings Android 2.3.7 to the Original Droid

Who said the original Motorola Droid isn't worth anything these days. While most who picked up the phone two years ago will be moving on to a new device, for those hanging on the Droid a bit longer Peter Alfonso has a treat for you. He has released his latest update to his popular Bugless Beast ROM, bringing Android 2.3.7 to the handset that arguably got the ball rolling for Google's smartphone platform.

Spotify hits 2.5 million paying subscribers

Spotify hits 2.5 million paying subscribers

Spotify has got some good news just in time for Thanksgiving. The online music streaming service has announced that it now has 2.5 million paying subscribers. While the company didn't provide many details about its subscribers (i.e. country breakdown, how long it took for them to reach, or how many free users they had), it's a pretty impressive feat especially in this day and age where people can easily get music for free – Spotify has done pretty well for itself.
