Google now selling devices on Google Play Store; Galaxy Nexus first to bat for $400

In an unexpected Vince Russo-like swerve, it appears Google have rebooted their device sales ambitions. The Android team have just announced that the Galaxy Nexus is available for sale on the Google Play Store.Wait, what. Never mind the fact that the device, which comes unlocked for use on both AT&T and T-Mobile, comes at a very attractive price point of $400 (though we’re still very excited about that) — we’re excited that Google’s taking another chance with this online store thing.

Proview believes settlement with Apple over iPad trademark dispute is “likely”

Apple is currently embroiled in many lawsuits over alleged price fixing, patent infringements, trademark infringement, in-app purchasing, etc, but it looks like one of these lawsuits could finally be coming to a close. According to Proview, the company has indicated that it seems likely that the lawsuit between Apple and Proview over the iPad trademark could be coming to an end and that the matter will most likely be settled out of court. It was revealed last week that Apple and Proview were ordered by the Chinese courts to attempt to settle the dispute by themselves if possible.

Chrysler marks return to China with 300 Ruyi design concept

Considering the rate at which the Chinese market gobbles up Buick models, you'd think it would be a prime market for Chrysler. Yet the House of the 300 wasn't present in China at all in recent years, as the brand has just announced at the Beijing Motor Show its return to the Chinese market. In the coming months, it will begin selling both the 300C and the Grand Voyager, and to mark the occasion it has presented a special design concept of its top-of-the-line sedan.

T-Mobile CEO argues to FCC against Verizon's AWS license acquisition

Well, wouldn't you know it, but T-Mobile - the only nationwide AWS service provider in the US - objects to Verizon's purchase of additional AWS spectrum. The company's CEO, Philipp Humm, recently took his concerns to the chief of the FCC's wireless bureau, Rick Kaplan, where he argued that Verizon's proposal to shed Blocks A and B of the 700MHz spectrum simply wouldn't be fair shake. According to Humm, Verizon is merely looking to offload its less desirable assets (as Blocks A and B are more prone to interference).
