Pentagon Is Developing A Terminator Type Robot Called ATLAS

Pentagon Is Developing A Terminator Type Robot Called ATLAS

The machines are rising. Pentagon is actually developing a robot that is bound to remind of you the Terminator robots, but their creation isn't a mean kill machine as yet. Its called ATLAS, it has two arms, two legs and 28 hydraulically actuated joints. This project falls under Pentagon's Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency or DARPA. The department is working on robots that it can develop to provide disaster relief and humanitarian aid, they've brought in researchers from MIT and other major institutions as participants of their Virtual Robotics Challenge.

LG Enact VS890 shows up as a new LTE Android phone for Verizon

LG Enact VS890 shows up as a new LTE Android phone for Verizon

LG's smartphones have never been top sellers at Verizon, but that doesn't stop the South Korean company to keep on making handsets for the largest US mobile carrier. This being said, meet the LG Enact (model number VS890), a new Android smartphone that's been pictured today on its way to VZW. Seemingly running Android Jelly Bean, the Enact has a pretty bland design (like most of Verizon's LG handsets, if you ask me). There are almost no details on this phone's features. However, we can see a camera with LED flash on the back, a front-facing camera, and Verizon's well-known 4G LTE logo.

Samsung to announce refreshed Exynos 5 Octa, will we see it in the Galaxy Note 3?

Samsung to announce refreshed Exynos 5 Octa, will we see it in the Galaxy Note 3?

“A new Exynos 5 Octa is coming next week!” That's what a a graphic posted to the official Samsung Exynos Twitter is proclaiming, anyway. We don't really know what will change from the first iteration of the chip, but let's not worry about that for now. What I really want to know is why we didn't see the Exynos 5 Octa deployed on a wider scale. Off the top of my head the only device I can think of that used the chip was the international Samsung Galaxy S4.

Purported Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Spotted At Testing Facility

Purported Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Spotted At Testing Facility

Yesterday we reported that thanks to what appears to be sketches taken from the Samsung Galaxy Note 3's user manual, we can more or less guess what the handset will look like, which is a device with rounded edges and would basically be a larger version of the Galaxy S4. Now thanks to new spy shots from TechKiddy, some blurry and questionable photos have surfaced which apparently originate from a Samsung testing facility in China, showing a room that has a handful of large devices, presumably that of the Galaxy Note 3 variety.

T-Mobile Testing GDR2 Update For Nokia Lumia 810

T-Mobile Testing GDR2 Update For Nokia Lumia 810

With all the higher-end Nokia Lumia phones announced recently, like the Lumia 925, Lumia 928, and the recently announced Lumia 1020, we guess it can't be helped that older Nokia devices have fallen by the wayside or there hasn't been much attention paid to them as of late. Well if you're the owner of the T-Mobile exclusive Lumia 810, which is essentially a slightly blocky version of the 820, you're in luck because according to WPCentral, it seems that T-Mobile is currently testing the GDR2 update on the device.
