It was just yesterday that we speculated on spotting the Sony MT27i, also known by its codename Pepper, and here we are with the rumored smartphone appearing on a NenaMark benchmark instead. This handset is tipped to be powered by the ST-Ericsson U8500 chipset, and the NenaMark benchmark did lay to rest the speculation of any other mention of different chipsets in the process. Sporting a GPU that was listed as the "ARM Mali-400 MP", this particular GPU sees action in ST-Ericsson's NovaThor family of chipsets (U5500, U8500 and U9500).
