It seems that both South Korean consumer electronic giants, LG and Samsung, are very close to securing a deal with Apple when it comes to LCD orders, at least that is what industry sources have informed the Korea Times. We all know that both Samsung and LG are already supplying majority of the world's LCD displays, and it seems as though these screens will target the next-generation iPad – for brevity's sake, we will call it the iPad 3.
