Samsung Electronics teams up with Cisco to release the world-first zero client monitor using UPOE (Universal Power Over Ethernet) technology, opening a whole new era of virtual desktops and changing the paradigm of the traditional office landscape. Samsung Electronics showcased the NC220 monitor last week at Cisco Live in Las Vegas. The NC220 monitor with Cisco UPOE technology connects individual monitors via the network to a virtualized main server that handles all tasks and applications.
