Kyocera Echo Gingerbread update suspended

Kyocera Echo Gingerbread update suspended

We previously reported that the Gingerbread update for the Kyocera Echo was bricking phones, with even a couple of our readers chiming in with their own stories. Well it looks like Sprint has had dealt with enough customers calling in to complain about the update and the carrier has decided to suspend the update. In the mean time it will be looking into the problem, and will try to figure out what's causing the phones to brick. No word on how long it will take to issue a fixed update, but we'll keep you posted on any updates.
