The portable boomBOTTLE speaker from Scosche, just introduced at CES, is a waterproof speaker that measures 2.85″ in diameter and 8.2″ long and can fit in a cupholder or the bottle cage on a bicycle.  It wirelessly connects to any smartphone or tablet capable of connecting with a Bluetooth 4.0 device with A2DP, AVRCP, HFP profiles; it has a 3.5mm audio connector for use with non-Bluetooth devices.  It even has a speakerphone function for hands-free calls with your smartphone.  It has dual 40mm drivers and a passive subwoofer; the Omni-directional speaker cone sends music in all directions.
