Yes that's the true color, not any photoshop work. It is called the Lake Retba aka "The Pink Lake", Senegal. It is located at the north of the Cap Vert peninsula of Senegal, north east of Dakar. The lake is pinker than milkshake and it is pink because of cyanobacteria (Dunaliella salina) – a type of harmless halophilic bacteria found in the water.
