According to JPMorgan Chase & Co., Apple has started to reduce the number of component orders with vendors who are based in the Far East for their iPad tablet – where the result of this action would most probably be a slowdown in sales for companies in its supply chain. It seems that this cut is rather deep, hitting 25% at times, making it the first time such a thing was issued by Apple. If you happen to be in Hon Hai's shoes, then your “feet” would feel the pain – as it results a rather drastic drop to 13 million units in Q4, compared to 17 million units in the previous quarter.
