Canon announces two new PowerShot cameras

Canon has just announced the addition of two new cameras to its PowerShot lineup - the PowerShot S100 and PowerShot SX40 HS. Designed for consumers on the hunt for compact yet powerful cameras, the new PowerShot cameras offer a wide range of options to please both folks who like to just point and shoot, and those who want complete manual control as well. Both models feature Canon's DIGIC Imaging processor, the DIGIC 5, which ensure high quality results when shooting in all conditions. The S100 is a slim compact camera and is said to mark a true step forward for the PowerShot S-series.
