Over at the IFA 2011 in Berlin this week, Sharp demonstrated the TV of the future. Unnamed at the moment (well, it doesn't need a name for you to remember it) - it is the world's first 8K4K display. 85" in size, the display has a resolution of 7680 x 4320, which is 4 times more than what we get with our current HD standard - 1080p. Even our digital cinemas today don't go beyond 4K resolution.
Ubergizmo, Sharp demonstrates the world's first 85x8K4K display
