Sony has officially confirmed that its Xperia Z Tablet is now receiving an update to Android 4.2 Jelly Bean (which includes multi-user support). This comes shortly after the company has also started updating the Xperia ZR smartphone to Android 4.2. Even with this confirmation, the support pages for the Xperia Z Tablet (here) and Xperia Z Tablet Wi-Fi (here) still show that the latest available software is Android 4.1. However, Xperia Blog has posted a screenshot with the Tablet Z LTE (model number SGP321) running 4.2.2 - so, yes, it is happening.
The Xperia Tablet Z will be also updated to the newer Android 4.3 Jelly Bean later this year.
