Android and Windows Phone have gained smartphone market share in Q2, Apple's iOS in decline

In the second quarter of 2013, Google's Android and Microsoft's Windows Phone have both gained market share in the global smartphone battle, while Apple's iOS registered a decline. Android is - as many already know - the indisputable market leader, and it's been so for some time. According to IDC, 187.4 million Android smartphones have been shipped in Q2 2013, accounting for a 79.3% market share.
